President

Molly Bennett

Molly Bennett graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2014 in Business Education and from Henderson State University in 2018 in Technology Leadership. She also completed a program of study through Henderson State University in Educational Leadership in 2019 to add Building Level Administrator to her license. Molly started her career in education in 2015 at Paris High School as the business teacher. She is in her eleventh year at Paris High School and is in her third year of being the High School Dean of Students. During her time at Paris, she has spent time as the FBLA Adviser, Yearbook Sponsor, and the Chair of the CTE Department. Molly also still teaches upper level business courses, including two concurrent classes through Arkansas Tech University-Ozark, and serves as adviser to the Paris FBLA chapter and the Paris DECA chapter. 

During her time as an FBLA adviser, Molly has had many officers at the national, state and district levels. She has also had over 100 members compete at the national level over the years and several of those reached the national stage. In 2023, her chapter was named the 1st Place National Champion in Champion Chapter, a year-long competition between chapters over various activities. 

Molly has been a member of ACTE for the past 11 years. During those years of membership, she has attended every summer state conference. Previously she served on the Nominating Committee for four years and then served as Nominating Committee Chair before joining the executive team in 2024.

Katie Robertson

Katie Robertson is a dedicated Career and Technical Education (CTE) leader with over 14 years of experience in education. A 2000 graduate of Southern Arkansas University, Katie began her journey in education as a substitute teacher, later serving as a speech-language aide. Her passion for student success led her to transition into a non-traditional role as a business teacher.

During her role as business teacher, Katie served as FBLA adviser, led student teams to national competitions, and produced multiple award-winning yearbooks. Her drive for advancing CTE eventually led her to the South Central Service Cooperative, where she now serves as a CTE Coordinator. In this role, she supports over 100 teachers across 11 schools in 9 districts, guiding them through Perkins accountability and promoting high-quality CTE programs.

Katie is also actively involved in regional and economic development efforts, serving on the policy committee for her consortium and participating in the South Arkansas Development Alliance (SADA) and her local Work Ready Community.

​

An engaged member of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) for the past 9 years, Katie has represented Arkansas at national VISION conferences, the National Policy Seminar, regional meetings, and multiple state conferences. Her leadership roles have included serving as President of the ACTE Administration Division (2022–2023), Chair of the Nominating Committee, and member of the Awards Committee. She was also selected as a 2023 Fellow in ACTE’s National Experienced Fellows Program (Division 4) and 2024-2025 Arkansas ACTE President.

Outside of her professional life, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.
