  • ACTE Carl Perkins Community Service Award

    • This award is presented to ACTE members who have used CTE to make a significant impact on a community/humanitarian cause through leadership in programs and activities that promote community involvement. This award was named in honor of the late Congressman Perkins, and is designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated the same humanitarian concerns exemplified by Congressman Perkins.

  • ACTE Lifetime Achievement Award

    • This award recognizes the contributions and distinguished accomplishments of members who have been identified with the work and purposes of the Association for Career and Technical Education over an extended period of time.

  • ACTE Teacher Educator of the Year

    • This award recognizes teacher educators who have demonstrated innovation in teacher education, leadership in improving CTE, and commitment to preparing teachers to deliver high quality CTE programs.

**Please note: Awards are noted by the year they are awarded at the national level. Award candidates move from the state level (at our Arkansas summer conference in July) to the regional level the following year (Region IV is held in the spring), then to the national level at Vision that winter. Then those winners at Vision serve as national award winners the following year. This means that the state winners pictured below who were recognized at our 2022 summer conference are listed as 2024 winners as well as the ones who won at the regional level this past March.
